My tempo was also a tempo.

My dad had an '84 Tempo. The rear passenger side door would randomly swing open. I don't think I've ever not worn a seat belt since then—except in my '65 Dodge D-100 that didn't have seat belts.

I had an 88 4 door Tempo.....owned it for 9 years. I cut the coils, installed decent shocks and got an extra set of steelies with Hoosier slicks and autocrossed it. Don't laugh....it wasn't always the slowest car.......I managed to embarrass quite a few guys with better cars.
